rhetorical analysis cl

For my Rhetorical analysis I want to look at a speech by the late Margaret Sanger. Her great speech was considered on the of the top 100 speeches of all time by www.americanrhetoric.com. I am analyzing her speech because I have a book with no essays. I found the speech online along with a few other great speeches. This essay is interesting to me because it was written in 1921, but is on a topic which is still holds controversy today; almost 100 years later. The essay takes a close glimpse at birth control and the ethics of it. Margaret askes a few questions to her audience in her essay "the morality of Birth control":

1. Is over-population a menace to the peace of the world?
2. Would the legal dissemination of scientific Birth Control information through the medium of clinics by the medical profession be the most logical method of checking the problem of over-population?
3. Would knowledge of Birth Control change the moral attitude of men and women toward the marriage bond or lower the moral standards of the youth of the country?
4. Do you believe that knowledge which enables parents to limit the families will make for human happiness, and raise the moral, social and intellectual standards of population?

I personally have no real stance on if birth control is ethical, but I look forward to picking apart this side of the storyl

So my blogs have to be longer right. For the first assignment, I looked at two blogs for creative inspiration. The first one was bold, rich, and had a full nutty undertone, it was called http://www.coffeesage.com/. If you are a coffee lover, this website is for you. There is everything coffee related on this web site, from cappachino recipes to coffee humor. One link I found interesting on this website was an article that said that there may be a link between coffee/tea and the prevention of type 2 diabetes.

"Starbucks says they are going to start putting religious quotes on cups. The very first one will say, ‘Jesus! This cup is expensive!’”

~ Conan O’Brien

Not very much can be more stimulating than coffee, short of illigal substances. One blog I found proves that to be wrong. The bad girls club blog shares all the juicy gossip you didnt see on Oxygen channel. The Bad Girls Club is a television show on oxygen channel for prison inmate wannabees. It shows 7-8 girls(depending on how many get kicked off for fighting), living in a dream mansion on Las Vegas and all the partying/trouble they can get into. I think this is about the 4th season. They call it the bad girls club for a reason, thats for sure. It's too gorey to describe here, but you can see all the action on http://www.oxygenlive.com/

blog?

Question... is a blog like a digital diary?

Question... do I have to be grammatically correct in a blog?

Question... who invented the blog?

So if I understand this correctly, each week we are supposed to do one assigned blog, and one blog about anything. I hope I got that right. I like the idea of writing something to be proud of each week, so for every "personal blog" I would like to write about something that I would like to look back on and read in the future. Right now, I am a community health major and have decided to make a commitment to myself to be a little healthier each day. So for my weekly personal blog, I would like to make and review a health conscious recipe. This will be a good database for good-tasting healthy meals. I will do my best to keep up with them and write them every thursday.

I thought of another question... do you have to sign an blog? like you would a letter?

if so...

Sincerely

Carmen
